About Cary

Cary Conover is a photographer and educator based in Wichita, Kansas. He is currently a faculty member at Andover High School, where he advises the yearbook and broadcast journalism programs and teaches beginning and advanced photojournalism classes. He is also an adjunct instructor of photography at Newman University, teaching analog and digital photography in the school's art department. From 2000 to 2010 Cary lived in New York City and freelanced for a variety of clients, most notably The Village Voice and The New York Times. Cary lives in College Hill with his wife, Ivonne, and their son, Julian.
